Two of my grandchildren currently attend Whitehall Elementary and their mom is president of the PTA at Whitehall. They’re members of St. Pius X Parish and involved in activities ranging from the Bowie Boys & Girls Club to Destination Imagination.
They shop in Bowie at the fabulous Bowie New Town Center and Gateway Center (Target, Pier One, Petsmart, etc.). They (and we) dine out in Bowie at Rip’s, a long-time local favorite, and the many franchise restaurants. They work out at SportFit in Bowie and play at Bowie Ice Arena, Allen Pond, and Bowie Golf & Country Club.
Did I mention that Bowie is only about a half hour from the D.C. line, BWI International Airport, Andrews AFB, Fort Meade, and historic Annapolis? Talk about convenience!
No wonder they love living in Bowie. I’ll bet you will, too.
